Abstract

This study examines the influence of wildfire smoke on the chemical composition of ambient PM2.5 across the contiguous United States. Using a combination of satellite data, ground-based monitoring, and atmospheric modeling, we characterize how wildfire smoke alters the chemical species present in particulate matter and the implications for public health.
